
Why is a brand important?
A brand encompasses and expresses what your business service provides, resulting in recognition, and respect amongst existing and potential customers.
Having a clear identity is of great value for increasing awareness in your marketplace and gaining a competitive edge. Your brand will impacts in two main ways:
1. Visually:
Whenever the visual brand is seen, it is consistent with the distinctiveness, and high quality of your business service. The visual brand is much more than a well designed logo. It is the use of fonts, colours and "straplines", as well as the correct use of brand guidelines in positioning on promotions and the quality of materials to which it is applied. The continuity of the high quality use of the visual brand is essential in terms of how your business is perceived; it should be clearly and consistently displayed on all your promotions and communications.
2. Emotionally:
Whenever people interact with your business service, they will have a memorable experience; from the customer care they receive on first enquiry from the benefit that they receive from your product or service. A positive view of your business service results in brand loyalty, fostering repeat customers and word of mouth recommendation - the best and cheapest form of marketing
